On Saturday November 23rd, 2013 volunteers from Asbury, Farley, and Epworth Fire Departments joined the Centralia-Peosta FD for live fire training in a 5-bedroom / 2-story home located on Old Highway Road. The four jurisdictions teamed up to demonstrate interoperability on the fireground. Asbury provided their 2,500 gallon tanker and Farley brought in the air tank refilling

November 3, 2103 (8:54 PM): Centralia and Peosta firehouses responded to a fire next to Old Highway Road at 8:54 PM on Sunday night. Upon arrival, it was observed that the fire was contained within a roadside ditch. It took little effort for Pumper 402 to extinguish the ditch fire.

October 31, 2013 (4:55 AM): CPFD responded to a fire alarm at a Peosta business. Upon arrival, the business was evacuated and we observed that smoke had filled the building.
