On Saturday November 23rd, 2013 volunteers from Asbury, Farley, and Epworth Fire Departments joined the Centralia-Peosta FD for live fire training in a 5-bedroom / 2-story home located on Old Highway Road. November 3, 2103 (8:54 PM): Centralia and Peosta firehouses responded to a fire next to Old Highway Road at 8:54 PM on Sunday night. Upon arrival, it was observed that the fire was contained within a roadside ditch. It took little effort for Pumper 402 to extinguish the ditch fire.
October 31, 2013 (4:55 AM): CPFD responded to a fire alarm at a Peosta business. Upon arrival, the business was evacuated and we observed that smoke had filled the building.
